I have two items that I need to discuss.
1. I just finished reading Eclipse for the second time because I had nothing else to read. I am, like many others (except for Shani) a fan. The last one is my least favorite though and it is the only one that I own (That is why I read it again). Let me vent for a minute about why this one is my least favorite. I LIKE JACOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that every one else swoons over Edward but I don't see why. OK granted he is hot and has a nice body but he has NO personality. He does nothing but rescue Bella all of the time, who, in my book is kind of annoying. Jacob on the other hand has the whole package. He is tall, dark, and handsome, he rides a motorcycle, and he is funny. He also is willing to fight for Bella where Edward would let her go if "that is what made her happy" GAG. I personally would want him to fight for me. Also and I quote "He is a drug for you Bella. I see that you can't live with out him now.It's too late. But I would have been healthier for you. Not a drug; I would have been the air, the sun." Forgive me if I am wrong but aren't drugs bad for you.
2. I know this is totally a different subject but I didn't want to start a new post. I realized today that Treyden sees so much more than I do. We were driving home from Ashley's today and he pointed out every little thing to me. He saw horses, tractors, an airplane, school bus and plenty of other things that he had to make sure that I saw. I never would have even noticed them because they are just there to me. But to him it was very exciting. I get so set in my routine and focused on my objective that I forget to stop and smell the roses.

Brandi- My only comment is....Books about vampires are lame. Read a classic like "Anne Frank." Or perhaps another great like my personal fav "To Kill a Mockingbird." Something realistic or with a plot. Then maybe you can channel that energy about loving Tom(or whatever his name is) into loving something real like democracy or civil rights. Just throwing it out there. I guess I just don't understand the hype about vampires. It made me so sleepy to think that they are awake ALL the time. But whatever. Soapbox is over. Read what you want.
By the way, the thing you said about Treyden is why I look forward to tending my nieces and nephews. The world is always way cooler through the eyes of a kid.
Edward vs. Jacob- this is a tough one for me! Eclipse was my favorite book even though it is so bittersweet. First of all Brandi, how in the world can you not LOVE Edward?! Come on, he loves Bella. More than anything he wants her to be truly happy...isn't that true love hmmm? Don't get me wrong, I really do like Jacob, but everytime I think of him, I think of a hot sweaty dog! I just can't wait until the next book comes out!
Why am I not suprised? For some reason I could have guessed that you would choose Jacob. I definately like him and I feel sorry for him. I didn't love the 2nd or 3rd books either...they were kind of depressing. But you should go back and read the first one again. Edward and Bella love eachother soooooo much!!! I would much rather spend my life with someone who would give me anything to be happy than someone who can't control their temper. Jacob seems fun and lovable enough....but we're talking about FOREVER. Hey, some drugs are really good for us. Some people can't live without drugs....hey I'm grateful for the occasional antibiotic or tylenol. Bella does truly love Edward....she can't live without him. I'm just sorry that Jacob and Edward both have to live forever and only one gets the girl. :) That's my two cents. Oh...yeah, I did make that rag quilt for taylee too.
I started reading your post and had to stop myself. I'm only in the first part of "New Moon". I think I read that you haven't read the other ones yet. YOU NEED TO! Twilight was a great one. I loved it. Its not that long, either, so you can make it through it quickly.
hey, i was reading some of your old posts and came across this one. i'd heard about twilight on a podcast, and had to check it out. i've been listening to it at work (not quite the same as reading it yourself, but better than nothing!) i'm halfway through new moon right now, finished twilight a couple weeks ago. did you know they're making a movie of twilight? i don't think there's a preview or even a release date yet, but there are all kinds of pictures and "sneak peeks" online if you search for it. just thought i'd let you know :)
p.s. i'm not sure who i like better right now, but i'm kind of leaning toward jake too.
