12 Days of Christmas (as if written by Trey and Kenlee)

On the first day of Christmas we trimmed our Christmas Tree. Actually Nov. 23 but who is counting.

On the second day of Christmas we watched the Polar Express for the first time and loved it. We have watched it about five times since.

On the third day of Christmas our mom and dad went to the Christmas devotional and listened to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and heard the first Presidency share their feelings on the birth of the Savior.

On the fourth day of Christmas we visited Santa Claus at the Iona building. Love this area. A five dollar picture with Santa, a cute Christmas craft, a cookie, and a short line to tell Santa that we haven't been to bad this year.

On the fifth day of Christmas.................................

Ok this is getting old and that is about all we have done so far this year. We still have to make gingerbread houses, see the lights, wrap presents and just plain old enjoy this holiday season. Love this time of year!

Sisters

Had to show off how cute my girls are. I had so much fun taking these pictures, actually scratch that, they aren't that fun to take because it was near impossible to get a good shot of my girls together, I had a blast playing around with the pictures after I took them. Aren't they fun. It is obvious why they are so cute. : }

FalL tOp TeN

I am not a skilled writer so I have nothing fun and catchy to say. But I do love lists and I love fall. Here are my top ten reasons why and a few scrapbook pages I have done.

1. Leaves changing - love love love the orange red and yellows. Gorgeous!!!
2. Pumpkin roll scentsy - makes my home feel cozy and warm. (I don't cook so this works great.)
3. Excitement of coming holidays
4. Halloween - playing dress up with my kids is way more fun than when I was a kid.
5. Thanksgiving
6. New wardrobe - not really new but I was getting sick of my summer cloths
7. Picking pumpkins
8. Playing in the leaves
9. Good food
10. Cute decor - autumn decorations are my favorite.

A Few of My Favorite Things

I have seen this done on some of my favorite blogs and it made me start to think about some of the things that I love right now and I decided to share them with my very few supporters (3 comments on my last post, weak). These go in no particular order.

.5. These are a few of my fav. people in the world (you will see why as you read further).
Looks like we need a new sister pic. This was the only one I could find.

1. Cover Girl WetSlicks - love for moisture and color. Kenlee is a huge fan too.

2. I just finished this book, These is My Words, last week and it is my new fav! I would rate it PG-13 though for some mild adult content.

3. Treyden got this book, Mom Says I Can from the library and the first time I read it to him it sort of made me tear up. I found it on sale at Deseret Book a couple of weeks ago and snatched it quicker than you can say SALE!

4. This stain stick works wonders on Mitch's white shirt collars. Love It!

5. Mitch turned Paul Cardall's CD one Sunday morning and I fell in love with it immediatly! He is an amazing pianist and it set a great sabbath mood.

6. Guess who's sisters bought her concert tickets. Thats right, I get to see David Cook in concert and I can't wait. So that means my sisters are at the top of this list.

7. These cute kids. Love them, 99% of the time. I have yet to get a good pic of my kids together.

8. And last but certainly not least, who could not love a face like this.

Last HooRa

i

Saturday we went to Black Tail Reservoir with my family and some friends for our last outing before school starts. Treyden wanted to try getting up on skis so my dad put his on, Trey put his on and then Trey couldn't hold them up. So my dad just skied holding him. I am not sure he was to impressed. Kenlee tried wakeboarding with my dad and was totally un impressed when the boat sort of died as it was trying to pull them it and sunk them. She loved tubing though. The weather was great and we all had a great time!

YUM!!!

This is what I am sitting down to enjoy now that both of my kids are finally asleep. It's been a long day.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love summer. We have been doing some really fun things and have a lot more fun things planned. I am not at all ready for Mitch to start school or for the weather to get cold. We blessed Indie last Sunday and were lucky enough to have both of our families there plus some of Mitchs aunts and uncles that we very rarely get to see. Treyden has learned tide his bike without training wheels and has gotten really good. This past weekend some friends and I went to Utah for a shopping excursion and had a blast. We went to Park City, watched the Proposal (which is my new fav, I laughed so hard I cried), and went to Taipan and Hobby Lobby. We had a blast. I have the best friends! My mom had the kids on Friday and then Mitch had them all day Saturday. I came home to kids in bed although not asleep and I got them up because I really missed them, and a clean house. My husband is amazing.

Going Private

It's true. I am jumping on the band wagon. You know the drill, leave me a comment with your e-mail address if you want to see what we are up to.

More Summer FUN!!!

Driggs, Idaho - Spud Drive In -We went and visited Nick and Ashley and took the kids to Ice Age 3. Not my favorite of the 3 Ice Age's but not bad. The next day we took the kids fishing at a stocked pond. They were able to catch a couple of little fish and thought it was pretty neat!

Rexburg Splash Park - we met Ashley Boston and Carter in Rexburg and let the kids play in the water and go for a ride on the carousel.

Island Park - we didn't have any success fishing cuz it is hard to find a good place where the kids won't drowned and the moms can sit. I am pretty sure the kids didn't care though. They just practiced their casts and played in the water.

*Notice the food in Kenlee's hand in every single picture - she is a growing girl!

Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to in the last week, Treyden and Kenlee love love love their new baby sister. In fact she and I start feeling a little claustrophobic when she is eating. Treyden has given her a few blessing. My kids both have colds and pink eye and Kenlee has been getting bad leg aches at night so they have each gotten several blessings and Trey has picked up on that. They are very good at sharing with her and she is pretty patient with them (and me while I take a picture). Other than that the rain has prevented us from doing much else which is ok with me for a few more days. I am still not quite ready to chase kids around the neighborhood. I do love the rain but I am just about ready to play outside again so anytime these dark clouds decide to move on will be alright with me. Plus Trey is ready to use his new bioculars (goggles) in Carters (his cousins) new pool so we better start seeing some sun soon!
