My meager attempt at photography

I have really been wanting to get into photography so I took a non-credit digital photography class at BYU-Idaho recently and haven't really had a chance to practice some of the things that I learned. Well I took the opportunity yesterday, and copied a few ideas that I had seen. I really don't have very cooperative models so when I got home from our "photo shoot" I have pretty discouraged to say the least. I pulled my pictures up on photo shop and played around with them a little and was able to make them a little better.

Treydens best day ever!

Friday and Saturday we went to Star Valley, Wyoming to hang out with my sister and her family. My parents and two little sisters came down on Saturday and brought the four wheelers. We went to Grover park and found went for a ride and had a picnic.
Me and my sisters. We have so much fun together.
Kenlee loves Oreos.
She fell asleep twice on the four wheeler.
Treyden and Boston were so excited to see each other. They hadn't ween each other in over 2 weeks which is a really long separation for them. My parents bought these bike helmets which they absolutely loved. These two boys could ride 4-wheelers all day long if we would let them.

I love Summer

Last Sunday we didn't go to either of our families for dinner like we usually do so we decided to take a little trip to Mesa Falls and have a picnic. Luckily it didn't rain on us while we were there and Treyden loved the water falls and climbing all of the stairs. He is an animal child and probably would have loved to jump in for a swim. He was making me a little nervous.
Monday for family night we went to the zoo with our good friends from our ward. Treyden and their little girl had a great time looking at all of the animals. Of course Kenlee sat in the stroller and soaked it all in but didn't say much. My little sister Kelsey came with us. She is so good with my kids and they of course love her to death.
Saturday we went to the Legacy Flight Museum Air Show in Rexburg. Mitch was at scout camp so he missed out but I convinced my dad to go with us. It wasn't to hard cuz he loves airplanes and hanging out with his grandkids. My sister Jordan met us there. Treyden and Kenlee loved it. They had some really neat stunt planes, a jet, and some old war planes. It was really neat and the weather was perfect for it. Finally, summer is here. Knock on wood, cross my fingers.

Caught Red Handed

No, this is not my children's blood although after you hear this you may think that I would have been justified if it were.

I decided that for a special treat for Treyden and Kenlee I would make jello for dinner. Not that it is that special but I never make it because by the time I think about it, it is to late to make. So I made it early and put it in the fridge to set and made the rest of dinner, while my kids clung to my legs and screamed at me the entire time. As soon as I got the casserole in the oven, I left the kitchen for two minutes to make a few phone calls and regain my sanity. I was thinking that it was a little to quiet when I was walking back to the kitchen. I guess that they couldn't wait to eat the jello. It was EVERYWHERE! Including all over their cloths which of course happened to be my favorite outfits. I stripped them down, took some pictures (to Kenlee's dismay) and threw them in their rooms where Kenlee still currently sits patiently waiting for the casserole to finish. She is in her crib having a great time playing with her toys. It was a good incentive to clean out my fridge (my 3nd worst chore after toilets and cleaning out the microwave). I will only laugh about this if my stain stick miraculously lifts the stains out of my kids cloths.

Potty Training Continued.....

My neighbor came over tonight and I found out she potty trained her daughter yesterday. In one day. I didn't know that was possible. It has been over a month and Treyden still has daily accidents. He just gets to busy. I am ready to put him back in diapers. I give up.

My American Idol Pic

I admit that I am an American Idol fanatic. David Cook and David Archuletta were both amazing through out the whole competition for me. David Cook won me over with his have grin when he sung Mariah Carey's song "Always Be My Baby". (You Tube it, its amazing) I love love love it when he drags the mic stand around. Now you really know how obsessed I am. So even though the judges liked David Archuletta tonight my vote still goes to David Cook. I really won't be to sad if he doesn't win tomorrow because David A. has such a perfect voice and has been pretty much flawless and consistent all season. I like him a lot too, and David C. will make it big anyway.
