Spoiled Rotten

Today as I sat in my yard and watched my children play with the neighbor girls I realized how blessed I am. I have a wonderful husband, two beautiful healthy kids, a beautiful home with a yard in a good neighborhood, good neighbors, a great ward and a happy and healthy extended family. I don't want to get all mushy or even brag. I guess I just need to point out to myself all of the things that I have to be grateful for. I think that this good weather has done it to me. It just makes me happy be be able to relax in the warm sun and work in my yard (never thought that I would say that). So basically I am a spoiled brat.

Hehe, I love that you are excited about working in your yard. Crazy how your perspective on things you used to hate so much can change :)

You are not a spoiled brat, you are just blessed, and it is good to stop and think of all the things you are grateful for once and awhile. I wish we could come play it looks like a lot of fun. Funny how once you get your own yard you are more excited to work in it!! I am the same way.

I dont know if you remember me, we were in the same ward for a little while in Ammon, and I didnt know you very well but I knew your husband back in my college days. I came across your blog when I was looking at someone else's and I noticed your name. I hope you dont mind. I just wanted to say hello. And tell Mitch hello for Brian and me. I could not agree more! You ARE spoiled! Me, too! Isn't it great? Enjoy it because I know something is going to come my way to really throw me for a loop. Probably headed for you, too.
Blessings rule.
