I am my mom

Yesterday, I once again came to the reality that I am my mother. This is far from the first time that I have come to this realization. I have an amazing mom. She is the most fun person to be around in the world. She is a great grandma to my kids and spoils them to death. She is caring and kind, but her mouth has gotten her into trouble more than once. This is the attribute that I am so lucky to have inherited. Yesterday, a friend of Mitch's came over to borrow some tools and brought his little brother with him. They walked in and Mitch introduced me to the brother, Chase. I said hello and then without even thinking (surprise) said, "how old are you" - 22, "do you have a girlfriend because I have a really cute sister." These are my moms words coming out of my mouth, I kid you not. She did this to me all of the time and it made me so mad mostly because the guys that she gave my number to were not cute and really annoying. So, at least I am improving in that department because this boy is cute. Anyway, they walked down stairs as I was pulling my foot out of my mouth. He was really nice when he came back up and acted really interested in calling Jordan (probably thinking that if she is even half as cute as me she would be worth taking out-lol) so I gave him her number and sent them on their way. I apologized to Mitch as soon as they left in case I embarrassed him. He said, "I am not the one you need to apologize to, apologize to him for setting him up with Jordan." Ha Ha (he was joking Jordan) And you are welcome Jordan for opening my big mouth(unless he turns out to be weird-then just blame mom.)

Brandi, you are so absolutely your mother it is not even funny! (actually it is hilarious). And Jordan, if he is a hottie with a naughty body, SCORE!

Isn't that a hard realization to come to? This isn't like my mom but just dumb...I was talking to this lady in my ward who has a mentally handicapped 16 yr. old and told her I did something that was "retarded". Right as I said it I think I went totally red. I'm an idiot.

It was good to hear from you. Your kids are darling and so grown up. I was hoping there would be a blog connecting to Ashley's. She must not have one. You better convert her.
